Hi! I’m Delfina Hoxha, the founder of Little Language Models and a lead content designer who has worked with tech startups, leading agencies, and Fortune 500 companies like Sony and Microsoft.
The story behind Little Language Models
I launched my business in January 2025 and called it Little Language Models.
I bought the domain on a whim a few months ago because I thought it was funny. Large Language Models (LLMs) are machine learning models designed to understand and generate human language by analyzing extensive text datasets. AI is such a hot topic right now, but “large” as a way of life—characterized by overconsumption, hustle culture, and a relentless pursuit of wealth and success—has been part of the cultural zeitgeist for many, long before AI started trending.
The idea to use the domain for an agency that’s intentionally minimalistic and deliberately committed to staying that way came to me randomly at the Newark airport (classic) after 3 weeks in the US with friends and loved ones and I wrote it down on a paper table mat (cheesy), but it felt so clear I had to listen to it. For LLM, less is better. Only two services offered, simple interfaces, clear language, and a website experience that doesn’t frustrate people.
The story behind the Little Language Models “logo”
The logo is a globe, showing the continents of Europe and Africa in green against blue ocean. It’s the one you see in your emoji keyboard if you have an iPhone.
It fits within the LLM philosophy: focus on the important stuff, ignore the rest (until—if—they become important). For launch, I didn’t want to spend too much time, money, or energy on a logo.
My friends and I say “Wow, small world” often when we learn that people in our network (or people in their networks) are surprisingly connected to each other. It’s a small world, but also, wow, the world is oh so big. The dichotomy complements Little and Large Language Models nicely 🙂
We build in public, A/B test in Stories, share article highlights and coffee ‘grams and memes and views from the Vienna HQ on Instagram. We also post longer posts and updates on LinkedIn.

Curiosity takes courage because the familiar feels safe. The willingness to explore new ideas, learn, ask questions is a must in all LLM projects.

LLM is a mix of what people need, what I’ve been paid to do for the last few years, and what brings the most joy.

My name means dolphin in Albanian. I live in Vienna, Austria. Everyday activities include meditating, journaling, reading (one book at a time only), and nighttime Sudokus. In a growth-obsessed world, Little Language Models is my ode to more isn’t always better.
